We will be leaving the capital city of Romania. Where to? Transilvania, of course!  We will make small stops to discover, step by step, the history of this country and the spirituality of its people. You’ll be surprised with how much we have to show. Curtea de Arges, the Medieval Capital of the country, with its famous Monastery, are full of legends, and also serve as the Royal Family’s funerary grounds.

Next up, the Romanian Mountains, where we will behold the true Citadel of Vlad the Impaler (Vlad Tepes) in Poenari (we will take a break at the base of the mountain, where you‘ll be able to take photos and, if you’re brave /strong enough, climb the 1500 stairs up to the Poenari Citadel). We will also explore the beautiful landscapes around the Vidraru Dam. South of the mountains, we’ll be heading towards the Olt Valley (Valea Oltului), and finally, to Sibiu, where we will check-into our hotel and take a Walking Tour. Sibiu is one of the best known tourist destinations in Romania, the European Cultural Capital of 2007, alongside Luxembourg, and it has been declared
the European Region of Gastronomy in 2019. It is also one of the towns that German Settlers have built in Transilvania. Accommodation in a 4* Hotel. Dinner will be served at the Hotel . Free Time

We’ll be leaving Sibiu at 08:00 for three new destinations, The Citadel of Fagaras (Cetatea Fagarasului),  The Corvin Castle (Castelul Corvinilor) in Hunedoara and the alluring Citadel of Alba Iulia (Cetate de la Alba Iulia). We will dive into the history, stories and atmosphere of these great edifices. Accommodation in a 4* Hotel in Alba Iulia. Dinner will be served at the Hotel . Free Time

Further on, we’ll be visiting a Salt Mine where history and technology have been intertwined. Where, you ask? In Turda.  But Transilvania must have more to offer, right? On our way to Sighisoara we’ll stop to gaze upon a Fortified Church, certified by the UNESCO World Heritage, in Biertan. We will then arrive in Sighisoara, another famous Medieval Fortified Settlement, registered in the UNESCO World Heritage. During the Walking Tour of the Sighisoara Citadel, we will also stop by the house where Vlad Tepes was born. We’ll also spend the night in this marvellous city. Accommodation in a 4* Hotel. Dinner will be served at the Hotel . Free Time

Breakfast and Check-out.
The next city we will discover is Brasov, an old fortified settlement of Transilvania turned into a great tourist attraction. But not before visiting the RUPEA Citadel (Cetatea RUPEA). Right before arriving in Brasov, we will visit the most imposing fortified church ,Prejmer, certified by the UNESCO World Heritage.
Next up is the Bear Sanctuary from Zarnesti. Each and every bear in the Zarnesti Sanctuary has its own sad story, all mistreated my humans. This beautiful place is a true blessing for its rescued bears, who have finally found their well deserved peace and quiet, and we couldn‘t be happier for them. Finally! Brasov, and what better way to enjoy this place than taking a Walking Tour through the Old Town, including its Black Church (Biserica Neagra) – a true landmark of this city. Should we have enough time, we’ll take the cableway up the
Tampa Mountain (Muntele Tampa) reigning above Brasov since ancient times. Accommodation in a 4* Hotel. Dinner will be served at the Hotel . Free Time

Breakfast and Check-out.
Time to say good bye to Brasov and head towards a new legend and story filled adventure in the Citadel of Rasnov (Cetatea Rasnov) (built in the 14th century as part of the defense system) and the well known Bran Castle (Castelul Bran). Over the mountains we go, towards Sinaia – the old Royal Summer Residence, where we’ll be visiting one of the most beautiful palaces in the world, the Peles Palace (Palatul Peles) (trust us, you won’t believe your eyes) and the Sinaia Monastery (Manastirea Sinaia) – the place to which this town owes its name.
